FLEX-MAT Series T

For Reinforced Applications
With triangular openings, these screens consist of alternating crimped and straight wires, and polyurethane strips. They are recommended where heavy loads or impacts may occur (for example, when 25% of the screened materials are four times larger or more than the opening of the screen).

Available openings : from 0.020 in.(0.5 mm) to 1 1/4 in. (31.8mm)
Available in tempered or stainless steel wire.

Featuring:
  • Heavy-duty usage
  • Non-blinding
  • Increased productivity
  • Unequalled wear resistance

Available In:

  • OptimumWire high carbon  tempered steel
  • Stainless steel

FLEX-MAT® Series T screens are recommended where heavy loads or where impacts may occur; for example, when 25% of the material screened is 4 times or more larger than the opening of the screen.

FLEX-MAT® Series T screens with triangular openings are designed for use on vibrating screens with a longitudinal or lateral tensioning system.

The FLEX-MAT® Series T screens are made of alternating crimped and straight wires.

The FLEX-MAT® Series T is available for fine screen, from 8 mesh to 30 mesh. This delivers increased throughput for shingle stone, brick, aglime, ceramic and many other applications.

Warp Wires

The alternating crimped and straight wires of different diameters are attached by molded polyurethane bands creating a variation in the amplitude of vibrations. This phenomenon is accentuated by the fact that straight wires are tensioned and crimped wires are free to vibrate.

Polyurethane Bands

The use of polyurethane band replacing wire chute increases the life-span of the screen cloth and reduces blinding. As a result, the screen is more flexible and has better vibrating qualities.

Hot Materials
When the temperature of materials exceeds 175° F (80°C), the polyurethane band is replaced by wire chutes.
